Spacetime 1

In Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, the universe has 3 dimensions of space and one of time. 3 dimensions of space + time = spacetime. "Look here, Albert", as a meteor travels closer to earth, it deviates from its steady course. Surely this is the effect of the gravitational force exerted by earth, pulling the meteor towards it." "No, Isaac! No!", cried Albert. "There is no force of gravity! There is no force! The massiveness of earth distorts spacetime and the meteor just follows along this distortion."
